Joy is supposed to be going to Surrey but accidentally crosses paths with the Duke of Bellmore AlecJoy ends up traveling with him and marrying him with in 24 hours of meeting him The author was very good at descriptions and elaborations, but I feel she failed here.
I really loved this book the first time I read it. She’s the witch whose every spell goes awry, and th After the woman he was supposed to marry runs off with another man, Alec, the Duke of Belmore finds himself facing humiliation.
The Luck of the Bride: When Alec realizes that he has married a witch it doesn’t fit within his restrictive view of what is proper for the Duchess of Belmore. And all that his society friends knew of the mysterious lady was that she was Scottish and that her grandmother had been a Locksley.
Is that a common phrase elsewhere, cause I’m not aware of pigs having whiskers. Bewitching (Bewitching, book 1) by Jill Barnett
I thought this was a cute story. The story was promising but little problems kept pulling me out of it. I give this book 3. But Alec’s heated desire turned ice-cold when he discovered that this winsome lady was, in fact, a witch whose powers of white magic were not always perfectly under control Her reactions feel immature.
I am some kind of a junio I really wanted to like this book.

Mass Market Paperbackpages. I enjoyed those moments when he counts to rein his temper whenever Joy casts a spell. However, that does not take away from the fact that I found this story to be very repetitive. Although she does tell him before they consummate their marriage that she jll a witch, and he bby freaks over it, they manage to remain married and deal with it. It’s cute, it’s funny, charming, silly, romantic, sexy.

Love between Alec and Joy has been as elusive as Joy’s perfection of her magic spells. I liked the story and the romance.
